In Someone Else’s Shadow is a story about a Little Girl’s journey to self-acceptance and personal discovery. She represents the essence and expression of the Soul, seeking an understanding of wholeness through knowledge building. The Shadow is nearly anything, such as language and societal norms, that impedes, diminishes and thwarts one’s self-esteem and self-knowledge. The Animals represent the voices of ancient wisdom, knowledge and loving guidance. The Animals guide the Little Girl through a journey of self-acceptance that strengthens her renewed understanding of others and her rightful place in the world.
